Individual Therapy
Humans have an innate propensity towards growth. Inevitably though, we come across obstacles and difficult situations blocking us from reaching our full potential. It is my goal as a therapist to help clients identify these roadblocks through careful exploration of the self, and overcome them using evidence based tools in order to reach our full potential. Insight into ourselves is a necessary step toward enacting change.

Couples Counseling
We have no “rule book” for relationships, and often the only model we have for romance is the example our parents set for us. In couples counseling, we can explore with our partner what influences our behavior in relationships in order to gain compassion for our partners. Simultaneously, we will learn evidence based practices to improve communication, build trust, and more, in order to create a stronger partnership.

Family Therapy
Humans do not exist within a vacuum. Our actions and behaviors influence those around us in sometimes obvious, but often hidden ways. This is especially true within the family unit, and yet these influences can go undiscussed and unnoticed. Family therapy provides the unique opportunity to create change within the system in order to improve functioning for the family as a whole, as well as for each individual family member.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my practice is based in a systems lens, meaning I believe we are a product of the important relationships we interact with. Thus, exploring the impacts these systems have leads to insight into the self-concept. Insight into ourselves is a necessary step toward enacting change.
My practice is influenced by the Narrative Model, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Imago Couples Therapy.
Just as no person comes into therapy for the exact same reason, my practice is individualized to fit the needs of each person. I work to cultivate a safe space by emphasizing compassion, curiosity, and growth.
